Get ready for more pedals to the metal in St. Louis’ historically embattled neighborhood, the Wellston Loop. The Young Voices with Action will continue the legacy with more local activities with Black Wall Street 314 Festival.

2022, marks the 101st anniversary of the tragedy of Black Wall Street in Tulsa, OK. Black businesses were burned down to rubble. Since then, a rebuilding of the black market has grown around the world. African Americans have performed great strides to implement strategies to circulate the black dollar in their communities. On June 25th, from 11 am till 6 pm, The Young Voices with Action is looking to expound and build on that legacy in St. Louis as they host the annual Black Wall Street314 Festival.

One of the highlights of the festival will be the Annual Car Show in the Wellston Loop. It’s time to start your engines and gear up as the festival welcomes people from all over and car clubs to join and showcase their hot rides.

Whether you consider yourself a car enthusiast or not, this event has something for everyone and you get to learn about and preview some of the most incredible car models out there. If anyone is interested in showcasing their vehicle, the registration entry fee is $35 and you can arrive as early as 9:00 am that day. Judging starts at 2 pm.

There will be cash prizes and gifts for the winners. Revenue generated from this event provides investments in the Wellston Loop community that helps contribute to the revitalization of infrastructure, health and safety, and capacity for more significant growth. The car show enables YVWA in its scholarship and academic excellence efforts within SLPS and Normandy school districts. Don’t miss out on one of the most talked-about upcoming events.
