JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — State Rep. LaKeySha Bosley, D-St. Louis has released the following statement on St. Louis Circuit Attorney Gabe Gore’s decision to vacate the murder conviction of Christopher Dunn, who has been imprisoned since 1991.
“Circuit Attorney Gore has evaluated the evidence and heard the recantations of eyewitnesses to come to believe what Mr. Dunn has been saying for nearly 33 years: that he did not murder Ricco Rogers. Like Kevin Strickland and Lamar Johnson before him, I hope that Mr. Dunn will soon enjoy the freedom that has unjustly been denied of him for far too long.”
