Quirky, nerdy, and frustrating is one description of Jordan, the character played by actress Shaquita Smith, in the AMC ALLBLK series, ā€œWicked City.ā€ An all black coven of witches have cast a on viewers and Smith is a pivotal part of the show’s magic.

From Bewitched to Charmed, audiences love a good witch show! However, Wicked City’s all black female leads in a supernatural series represent a plot-twist for the genre, and then there’s Jordan. Smith’s portrayal of a black, brilliant, beautiful, geeky, neurotic is enthralling, superpowers aside. In this groundbreaking ensemble cast, the Jordan character is the breakout star. Smith’s ā€œWIcked Cityā€ co-star, Vanessa Bell Calloway, is also seeking a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. From behind the lens, Dale S. Lewis is seeking a nomination for Outstanding Director with the producers hoping for an Outstanding Drama Series nom for ā€œWicked City.ā€

Born February 27, in Birmingham, Alabama, Smith attended Minor High School in Adamsville, AL before matriculating to American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, GA to study Business Administration, and later to Troy University for Theatre.
