Organizations Introduce the Season-long, Reusable and Refillable Rambler® 25 oz Straw Mug, Valid for Use at 2024 CITY SC and CITY2 Major League Soccer Home Matches

Yeti Refillable Ramblers

ST. LOUIS (April 11, 2024)—Based on a shared commitment to ensuring a sustainable future, St. Louis CITY SC is entering a partnership with the leading premium outdoor brand best known for its iconic coolers, drinkware and outdoor equipment, unveiling YETI as the Club’s Official Sustainability Partner. This partnership is highlighted by the introduction of the CITY SC Refillable Rambler 25 oz Straw Mug, a licensed, double-wall vacuum insulated piece of reusable drinkware that has exclusive in-and-out privileges at CITYPARK, with unlimited water and soft drink refills at all St. Louis CITY SC and CITY2 Major League Soccer home matches throughout the 2024 season.

This is YETI’s first season-long reusable cup program featuring free beverage refills for a professional sports team/stadium and the first-of-its-kind refillable soda and water season-long cup in sports.

“Sustainability cannot be achieved alone – we all have a responsibility to protect our environment and it takes a team effort to make positive change,” said Diego Gigliani, St. Louis CITY SC’s President & GM. “We couldn’t be happier to partner with YETI to create an innovative and reusable solution supporting CITY’s ‘Goal: ZERO’ pledge to achieve zero-waste matchdays, while helping fans save on beverage costs and stay hydrated all season long.”

The Rambler 25 oz Straw Mug is made from premium kitchen-grade stainless steel and includes a lid, straw and easy grip handle, and features the high standard of quality, durability and functionality YETI products are known for. The white Refillable Rambler is etched with St. Louis CITY SC’s secondary crest and the Club’s “Our CITY” sustainability logo, and it fits in CITYPARK’s cup holders as well as most traditional cup holders. Additionally, CITY and YETI will work together to add free compostable cups at the stadium’s nine publicly accessible water stations spread out around CITYPARK to ensure all fans have a free way of staying hydrated, particularly in hotter months.

“Our mission is rooted in a passion for outdoor pursuits, and we’re thrilled to team up with an organization that shares our enthusiasm for making sure we do all we can to keep the wild, wild,” said Bill Neff, Vice President of Brand for YETI. “St. Louis CITY SC is helping to lead the charge when it comes to sustainability in professional sports, and we know their incredible fans will join us in the fight to eliminate single-use plastic.”

The Refillable Rambler 25 oz Straw Mug retails for $79.99 and can be pre-ordered now through Sunday, April 14 at 11:59 p.m. CT by visiting http://stlcitysc.com/yeti. The Rambler is expected to become available for use by CITY SC’s May 11th home match vs. Chicago Fire FC (date subject to change). Limited quantities will also be available for purchase exclusively at CITY SC’s team stores, CITY Pavilion and CITY Goods, at that time.

St. Louis CITY SC’s Our CITY sustainability initiative puts CITYPARK at the forefront of the Club’s commitment for the 22,500-seat venue’s Goal: ZERO focus – to secure zero waste status for all its matches at CITYPARK, which is defined in the industry as diverting over 90% of waste away from the landfill. All waste generated at CITYPARK is either reduced, reused, recycled or composted. CITY SC’s commitment to sustainability includes eliminating single-use consumer plastics, as well as comprehensive energy efficiency and water conservation initiatives, and partnering with food donation programs.

CITY SC Refillable Rambler 25 oz Straw Mug Program

Fans can use the CITY SC Refillable Rambler 25 oz Straw Mug at CITYPARK’s 17 hydration stations for soda and water, as well as the stadium’s nine publicly accessible water stations. Fans must have a match ticket to enter CITYPARK with the Rambler and the Rambler must be empty to be allowed inside the stadium. (Limit 1 Rambler per ticketholder.) The Refillable Rambler is valid for use at all 2024 St. Louis CITY SC and CITY2 Major League Soccer home matches only.
