Annual Donation Surpasses Past Two Years, Raising $7,500 for Youth Programs

ST. LOUIS, MO — For the third consecutive year, the Foot Locker team at St. Louis Galleria has demonstrated their unwavering commitment to supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL). On Wednesday, November 5, the team proudly presented a $7,500 check at the Adams Park Club (APC), funding vital programs that equip local youth with the academic and life skills necessary to achieve great futures.

This generous donation marks a significant milestone, surpassing last year’s contribution of over $6,000 and showcasing Foot Locker’s growing impact on the community. The partnership between Foot Locker and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, including BGCSTL, underscores the company’s dedication to empowering young people and fostering positive change.

The celebration at the Adams Park Club was filled with joy and excitement as the Foot Locker team engaged with Club members through pizza, gift bags, and interactive games. The energy was palpable, with one member exclaiming, “This is so much fun!”

“We are grateful to our loyal Foot Locker partners who faithfully raise funds for Boys & Girls Clubs,” said Brandon Williams, President/CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis. “Their commitment ensures local youth have the resources they need to succeed.”

Special recognition goes to the dedicated St. Louis Galleria Foot Locker team for their generosity and hands-on involvement with Club members:

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) is dedicated to inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those who need it most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. BGCSTL provides after-school, teen, sports, and summer programs to youth across the Bi-State Region, offering a safe place for them to learn and grow. The Clubs operate at six locations, including Adams Park Club, Bentwood Townhomes Bethalto Club, Hazelwood Elementary School Club, Herbert Hoover Club, Mathews-Dickey Club, and the Teen Center of Excellence. Additionally, BGCSTL runs Mentor St. Louis and the St. Louis Internship Program.

This year’s donation is a testament to the power of community partnerships and the positive impact they can have on the lives of young people. Foot Locker’s continued support ensures that BGCSTL can provide the resources and opportunities needed to help local youth thrive.
