Founded by Dwayne and Vera Nelson on October 2, 2021, this charming diner embodies the essence of home-cooked meals shared with loved ones. 

As I stepped into Your Place Diner, I was immediately enveloped in a sense of belonging. The friendly ambiance permeated the air, from the warm greetings of the staff to the lively conversations among patrons. Dwayne Nelson’s vision of sharing his family Thanksgiving with the world is palpable in every dish served at the diner. 

What sets Your Place Diner apart is not just its delectable cuisine but also its motto: “You may have been to a lot of places, but there is no place like Your Place, because Your Place is just like home.” This mantra encapsulates the diner’s commitment to providing a welcoming environment where customers feel like part of the family.  

One of the diner’s most alluring features is its unassuming exterior, which belies the vibrant atmosphere within. While walking to the back of the diner, There was a warm and spacious cozy patio where a beautiful small fire pit lit up the night. While Venturing downstairs, I discovered yet another facet of Your Place Diner’s charm—a second bar and performance space where local bands and artists entertain guests with live music. 

This dedication to creating a vibrant arts scene underscores the diner’s commitment to enriching the community beyond its culinary offerings.  Speaking of cuisine,

Your Place Diner boasts a menu brimming with soulful delights, from crispy chicken and catfish to savory spaghetti and decadent candied yams. Each dish is prepared with meticulous care, ensuring that every bite is a culinary revelation.  In keeping with its ethos of community engagement, Your Place Diner is hosting an amateur night event on April 6, 2024, providing a platform for aspiring performers to showcase their talents.
