A special thanks, to the Foot Locker team – District Manager Markeetious Fisher, Market Leader/General Manager Candice Patterson, General Manager Quinton Simms, and the entire Foot Locker team – for raising the most funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis’ (BGCSTL) Adams Park Club.
A check donation of $5,810 was presented to the Adams Club, 4341 Vista Avenue in south St. Louis, from the Kids Foot Locker Foundation on November 1.
The boys and girls of Adams Park Club had a blast playing dodgeball with the Foot Locker team, following the check presentation as well as enjoying pizza, sponsored by the Foot Locker team.
Moreover, the Foot Locker, Inc. is a leading footwear and apparel retailer. With approximately, 2,600 retail stores in 26 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. In addition, there is also a franchised store presence in the Middle East and Asia.
Fisher said Foot Looker has had a partnership with Boys and Girls Clubs for eight years.
“We do a fundraiser drive every year, a back-to-school fund raiser drive,” Fisher said. “And every year we pick the top 14 stores that raise the most funds and we give back to the community that they raise the funds in.”
With much regards, BGCSTL President and CEO Flint W. Fowler, Ph.D., expressed appreciation for the “excellent partnership” with Foot Locker.
“This partnership allows us to fulfill our mission of helping all youth, particularly those who need us, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens,” he said.
