In a well executed move to be part of the local wide venues to host Toy Drives. In Da Loop Restaurant during their first holiday season 2022, decided to join in with Argus News STL, and the formidable Stress Free Friday’s team to collect toys.
Toys that will brighten up any child’s face this Christmas Day. In addition to all that is going wrong, due to Covid-19 lingering around.
It is a sweet sensation to have good people coordinating something that could bring so much joy. The staff at Argus News STL wanted to make sure that the right kids got these toys. As a result they decided to donate all proceeds to children group homes and or family shelters.
These young children otherwise do not get the opportunity to go shopping. Because some are disabled, and or confined to a closed in children group home.
And with the short staffing and Covid, it is very hard to allow the kids out in the public. The toys collected were bags of adorable plushie stuffed animals, motorized cars and games, graphic coloring books, dolls for girls, board games and so much more.
The crowd was piling in Sunday to drop off toys, drink and eat delicious food. And the music was spinning out pulsating House Music by DJ Barry.
In Da Loop stated that they were still not satisfied, so, anyone who would like to drop off more. Just stop by the restaurant now until Wednesday and drop off a toy.
On other notes, St. Louis is so generous, not only was In Da Loop doing good work, several other venues across the metro hosted theirs as well.
