St. Louis CITY SC will head south to take on Houston Dynamo at Shell Energy Stadium on Saturday, with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. CST. The match will stream live on MLS Season Pass and broadcasted via radio on KYKY Y98.1 FM (English) and KXOK 102.9 FM (Spanish).

The teams met twice earlier this season in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, with each team winning the home leg of the fixture. The matchup finished 2-2 on aggregate over the two legs with Houston Dynamo advancing on away goals. The upcoming match will be the fifth all-time meeting between the two teams, with CITY SC leading the series with a 2-1-1 record. St. Louis is unbeaten against Houston Dynamo in league play (1-0-1 record).
CITY SC is coming off a bye-week, but in their last match they salvaged a point on the road against Sporting KC. Klauss, Célio Pompeu and Tomas Totland scored for CITY SC in the 3-3 draw, with Totland’s goal coming in stoppage time. The goal was Totland’s first of his CITY SC career, with Klauss and Pompeu notching their team-leading third goals of the season. Pompeu’s goal won AT&T Goal of the Matchday honors for Matchday 10.
Rasmus Alm and Chris Durkin also had strong performances in their last match. Both players, along with Klauss, picked up an assist in the match against Sporting KC. Alm recorded his second assist of the season, doing so in back-to-back matches. Durkin recorded his first assist for CITY SC and the 10th of his MLS career.
In two regular season matches against Houston Dynamo, CITY SC has scored four goals and conceded one. In the last match between the two teams at Shell Energy Stadium, Klauss scored a late equalizer to secure a point against the Dynamo. Klauss will be looking to score in three consecutive matches for the first time in his short CITY SC career.
St. Louis has scored nine goals in four away matches this season, earning at least a point in three of those matches. St. Louis has an all-time away MLS record of 6-9-6, scoring 30 goals in that span.
Houston Dynamo comes into the match with a 4-4-1 record, nine goals scored, and 10 goals conceded. The Dynamo are looking to snap a two-game losing streak after falling to Austin FC (1-0) and FC Dallas (2-0). Ibrahim Aliyu (3) leads Houston in goals and midfielder Artur leads the team in assists with three.
