Cori Bush Re-Election Campaign Launch Recap

Cori Bush, the first Black woman elected to represent Missouri’s First Congressional District, launches her re-election campaign with a focus on her record and constituent advocacy.

The political re-election campaign launch for Cori Bush kicked off Saturday, January 27th at 1 pm to a packed house at the Bush STL headquarters on Natural Bridge Road.  The event was energy-filled and captured her campaign’s can-do spirit and the collective desire to continue the work to be of service to Bush’s constituents and the City of St. Louis.  

Before she took the stage, a stream of supporters, collaborators and fellow politicians spoke of their support for Representative Bush, her love for her district and our city and how important it is that she remain in office to continue her work.  The constant theme from the speakers, ranging from Hanna Rosenthal, member and co-founder of Progressive Jews of STL, Nawal Abuhamdeh, supporter & activist, Rasheed Aldrich, Jr., St. Louis Alderman to fellow squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Michgan, was the congresswoman has genuine love for and an unwavering desire to serve St. Louis and is proud to speak truth to power.
