The death of the late great Radio Legend Lou ‘Fatha’ Thimes’ daughter Deborah Thimes, has sent shock waves across the St. Louis area. She was a woman of many hats and was truly loved by many people from her former workplace to the entertainment arena.
The first to the last time I had seen Deborah Thimes, I affectionately called her “Debbie”, she was at the popular Music festival ‘Music at the Intersection.’ She thanked me again for the tickets to the event so that she could invite more guests to see her sister Denise Thimes perform.
And surely, being the gregarious person that she was, the last time I saw her warmingly smile was at an event in North County. In addition to this statued woman being a health care worker, she was also a promoter working diligently with her sister, the legendary singer Denise Thimes, and her Radio personality/Executive brother Lou Thimes Jr.
Moreover, she will be missed tremendously for her contribution to her family’s charities and the entertainment scene. Here is the information for her arrangements as we all prepare to say goodbye.
