Re-post from VOP News STL

Travell Hill plead guilty Friday morning in a federal court after being convicted of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire and of murder-for-hire in the 2016 killing of Andre Montgomery Jr., the grandson of Robbie Montgomery. Robbie, a St. Louis native, is the owner of the beloved Sweetie Pies soul food franchise.

Her grandson was often seen along side of her on her Sweetie Pies TV series. Hill admitted to shooting and killing Montgomery in exchange for $5,000 from Montgomery’s uncle, Robbie’s son, Tim Norman. He was also recorded discussing the murder with his brother on calls from jail.

Hill discussed the plot and the involvement of life insurance policies, burner phones that were used and potential payouts.Norman and three others were also charged in connection to Montgomery’s murder.

Norman allegedly stated several times that he wanted his nephew dead. Terica Ellis, who was a stripper and a former girlfriend of Norman, was allegedly brought in on the plot as well. The two attempted to cash Montgomery’s $450,000 life insurance policy, by bringing in a fourth party,

Waiel Rebhi Yaghna, who was a life insurance agent. Norman and Ellis are facing conspiracy to commit murder charges, and will be headed to trial in September. Yaghnam was charged with wire, mail fraud and aggravated identity theft.
