Cortex Square One Boot Camp – Application Deadline August 18th with Classes starting September 11th

SQ1 Boot Camp is an in-depth 10-week, 50-hour program that combines formal instruction with hands-on learning, networking, and mentoring.

The program’s structured curriculum seeks to instill in entrepreneurs the confidence and skills needed to succeed in high-growth industries. Sector experts lead the bioscience, information technology, and advanced manufacturing tracks, respectively. Participants work on specific deliverables such as a business model canvas, financial statements, pitch deck, 2-minute elevator pitch, and planning checklist.

3. If more than one person from a company or team wishes to attend the program, each person needs to submit a separate application.

The Fall 2023 class begins September 11th and will meet every Monday from 5:30-8:30pm. Additionally, weekly mentor and special topic sessions will be held each Tuesday from 5:30 -7:30pm with industry track leaders and mentors to further discuss and review topics covered in class. You must commit to attending weekly classes AND mentor/special topic sessions during the course of the program.

There is no fee to apply.

Please be as specific and detailed as possible in describing your business without disclosing proprietary information. Applications may be shared with track leaders and/or mentors during the selection process.

Program participation fee: $250. Need-based scholarships available; please inquire if applicable. Square One programming is made possible by the generous support of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Wells Fargo, Missouri Technology Corporation, Enterprise Holdings Foundation, and Verizon.
