About Us
The Zeta Charitable Foundation of St. Louis Inc. was founded July 2009 by members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Xi Zeta Chapter. Our theme is “Impacting the Community By Creating and Supporting Activities to Improve the Human Condition.”
The Zeta Charitable Foundation of St. Louis has established a scholarship for girls who are high school seniors in the St. Louis Missouri metropolitan area and will attend college after graduation.
In addition, we provide support to expectant mothers through our Stork’s Nest Program. The Stork’s Nest was established in 1971 and is a cooperative National Project of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and the March of Dimes. The program was designed to increase the number of women who get early and regular prenatal care so that more babies get a healthy start in life. Stork’s Nest provides incentives for expectant mothers to encourage them to keep scheduled appointments as well as educational workshops about healthy prenatal and infant care practices. Thanks to a $5,000.00 grant from Zonta Club of St. Louis, the Stork’s Nest program will be able to increase the number of expectant mothers served.
