Teen organized event to focus on peace & unity
ST. LOUIS, MO (January 10, 2024) Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL)Teen Center of Excellence (TCOE) hosts a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Peace Walk and Rally, Friday, January 12, 2024, from 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Peace Walk begins at BGC’s Teen Center of Excellence, 9200 W. Florissant Ave. 63136.
The teen-led walk will start from the Teen Center and proceed to Pleasant View Apartments (Formerly Canfield Apartments) for a moment of silence and encouraging words. Participants then return to TCOE for a reception and rally featuring popular musical performances and guest speakers. Special guests include Missouri State Representative Raychel Proudie, District 73, popular teen speaker Whois Ardimus, area vendors, businesses, and community groups.
