Two of the most illustrious non-profits in north city, Urban League St. Louis and Better Family Life, are reaching out on Giving Tuesday. The Urban League STL sits on Kingshighway in its historic headquarters Roberts Brothers Building, also called the Sears Building.
Just last week they gave over 2,000 families Thanksgiving miracles, with boxes of food, toiletries and cleaning supplies to assist with the holidays. And the lines were indeed long, and I was told they started at 8 a.m. way down Page at Vandeventer Ave.
It would take a whole day to list all of the wonderful things that Urban League St. Louis city does to help peole live better. So, if it is in your heart to give on Tuesday, make sure they are on your list.

Better Family Life is more of a resource leader for the community. They do host food giveaways, events and counseling. While providing classes and informational tools to help the neighborhood stay informed and stabilized. Located near the west end of St.Louis, but is clearly within reach of the north city corridor.
They want you to get into the heart of the matter.
|GIVING TUESDAYMental Health is at the heart of so many unimaginable and senseless acts of violence the school shooting that occurred at our own Central Visual and Performing Arts High School on October 24, 2022. Better Family Life is taking this to heart and seeks to raise funding to offer 1,000 hours of counseling to the students, faculty and families impacted by such a heart wrenching act. Please scan QR Code below to donate to this worthy cause.
