The NFL season is rolling along as Week 12 is underway. And like last week, it is time to look at the games and make some picks.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Indianapolis Colts (Colts -2.5) – The Indianapolis Colts find themselves on a two-game winning streak after a 10-6 win over the Patriots in their last game. Now, after getting a chance to rest due to a bye week, they are looking to extend their streak. The Colts are an even 5-5 and third in the AFC South. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 4-6 and are coming off a loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The Colts have a chance to go over .500, where the Buccaneers have had some troubles as they have lost five of their last six games after starting the season with a 3-1 record.
Prediction: Colts get the win
New England Patriots vs New York Giants (Giants +3.5) – The New York Giants picked up a win in their last game, as they beat the Washington Commanders (a division rival) last Sunday. It was a feel good win after they lost 49-17 to the Dallas Cowboys the game before. The Giants are 3-8 and at the bottom of their division. The New England Patriots are 2-8 this season. They are on a three-game losing streak with the Colts being their last loss. The Giants have a chance to build a winning streak with a win over another struggling team.
Prediction: Giants get the win
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals (Steelers -2.5) – In an AFC North matchup, the Cincinnati Bengals host the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bengals are 5-5 and are last in the division. They lost to the Ravens (the leader in the AFC North) in their last game and lost their starting quarterback Joe Burrow to an injury. The Steelers are 6-4 after a loss to the Cleveland Browns last Sunday. Both teams are coming off losses and this game could go either way. But playing without Burrows will be tough.
Prediction: Steelers get the win.
Carolina Panthers vs Tennessee Titans (Titans -3.5) – The Tennessee Titans are on a three-game losing streak. They lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday and lost to the Buccaneers and Steelers before that. The Titans have a chance to snap their streak as they face the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are also on a three-game losing streak and have an overall record of 1-9. It has been a rough season for the Panthers and chances are, their losing streak continues.
Prediction: Titans get the win.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Houston Texans (Jaguars -1.5) – The Jacksonville Jaguars are sitting on top of the AFC South with a record of 7-3. They beat the Titans last Sunday which was a good win after their 34-3 loss to the 49ers. The Texans are trying to creep up as they are on a three-game winning streak. They also have a record of 6-4. This AFC South matchup has the makings of a good game but Jacksonville may come away with the win.
Prediction: Jaguars win.
New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons (Saints -1.5) – The New Orleans Saints are on top of a struggling division. The Saints are solid with a record of 5-5, while other teams in the division are below .500. The Saints lost their most recent game and on the flipside, the Falcons are on a three-game losing streak. The Saints should get the win over their division rival.
Prediction: Saints win.
Los Angeles Rams vs Arizona Cardinals (Rams -2.5) – The Los Angeles Rams are below .500 with a record of 4-6. The Arizona Cardinals are the only team below them in the NFC West, as they have a record of 2-9. The Rams are coming off a win, while the Cardinals are coming off of a loss. The Rams should get the win.
Prediction: Rams win.
Cleveland Browns vs Denver Broncos
The Cleveland Browns are on a three-game winning streak. They have picked up wins over the Cardinals, the Ravens and the Steelers, and find themselves second in the AFC North behind the Ravens. The Broncos are on a roll, as they find themselves on a four-game winning streak. The Broncos are now 5-5 and would love to keep their streak going. But with the Brown’s defense, it may not be easy. This could be a good game with winning streaks on the line.
Prediction: Browns win
Buffalo Bills vs Philadelphia Eagles (Eagles -3) – The Philadelphia Eagles continue to play well. They have a record of 9-1 and are on a four-game winning streak. Their most recent win was a win over the Chiefs. The Eagles are hard to beat and despite the Bills winning their last game, they may not have enough to stop the Eagles
Prediction: Eagles get the win
Kansas City Chiefs vs Las Vegas Raiders (Chiefs -10) – The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Eagles but they are still a tough team to beat. The Chiefs are 7-3 and are the top team in the AFC West. The Las Vegas Raiders are one game below .500 and lost to the Dolphins last Sunday. The Chiefs want to bounce back from their loss to the Eagles and this is a great opportunity to do so.
Prediction: Chiefs win
Baltimore Ravens vs Los Angeles Chargers (Ravens -3.5) – The Baltimore Ravens are the top team in their division and after a loss to the Browns, they bounced back with their Thursday Night Football win over the Bengals. The Ravens are on the road as they face the Chargers in Los Angeles. The Chargers are 4-6 this season and are on a two-game losing streak. The Ravens can and should pick up this win.
Prediction: Ravens win
Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings (Vikings -3) – The Monday Night Football matchup of Week 12 is between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings. The Bears have had a tough season as they currently have a record of 3-8. Their most recent loss was against the Detroit Lions in a close one. The Vikings are solid. They have a record of 6-5 and are second in their division (behind the Lions). The Vikings lost their last game but a win over the Bears could be what they need to get back on track.
Prediction: The Vikings get the win.
