Affinia Healthcare has appointed veteran healthcare professionals to leadership roles, bringing experienced leaders to the organization.
ST. LOUIS, MO – Affinia Healthcare is pleased to announce the following additions to its leadership team.
Genesis Young has joined Affinia Healthcare as the Assistant Vice President of Health Center Operations. She will oversee operations at the North Florissant, Pagedale, and Ferguson locations. Young earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a minor in Health Education from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Her previous experience includes work as the Oversight Nurse for the Missouri Department for Developmental Disabilities and as the Family Clinical Nurse Manager for a local community health center. In her spare time, Young enjoys singing, and loves fish and aquariums.
Jocelyn Hawthorne was selected to fill the role of Assistant Vice President of Health Center Operations where she will oversee operations at the Biddle, Lemp, S. Broadway, and BJC Behavioral Health locations. Prior to joining Affinia Healthcare, Hawthorne worked at Loyola Medicine as the Executive Director of Transplant Services & Lung Transplant Program Manager. Hawthorne has two bachelor’s degrees in Nursing, one from the University of Kansas, and another from Saint Louis University. She also has a master’s degree in Nursing Education, and a certification in Nursing Leadership, both from Webster University. Reading, watching sports, traveling and spending time with her family and friends is what Hawthorne enjoys doing outside of work.
