A media announcement from the staff at the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis.
As 2023 winds down, we reflect on a milestone year for the Regional Arts Commission and celebrate more major steps taken towards a thriving arts & culture scene in St. Louis. We stretched ourselves to give as much as possible to individual artists and organizations in an intentional effort to always prioritize the creatives who elevate our quality of life. We worked quickly and transparently to distribute federal pandemic relief funds through the RAC-led ARPA for the Arts efforts. We completed and published two groundbreaking research studies, anchored by the inaugural, one-of-a-kind creative conference, CULTURA, to lift up the sector through focused, useful data and vital insights. We launched St. Louis Arts, an online central hub that showcases the incredible breadth and depth of creative experiences and stories reverberating from our region. We did this – and so much more – thanks to the commitment of our Board of Commissioners, the expertise of our staff, the passion of our partners, and the support of people like you who understand the value and vibrancy of an inclusive, collaborative arts community. Help RAC maintain this momentum in 2024. Let’s take a look at some of what we accomplished together in 2023. |
