With a powerful approach to addressing substance abuse, the center offers a comprehensive range of services, including substance abuse treatment, short-term residential treatment, family education, and outpatient relapse prevention.

Addiction is a relentless adversary, affecting not only individuals but entire communities and families. In the heart of Midtown St. Louis, a new, state-of-the-art, 22,500-square-foot facility stands as a symbol of hope and transformation. This facility, operated by The Salvation Army, embodies their commitment to creating sustainable positive change in the lives of individuals and communities.  

The Salvation Army’s addiction treatment center in Midtown St. Louis is a sanctuary of healing and recovery. With a powerful approach to addressing addiction, this facility offers a comprehensive range of services to aid those battling substance abuse.  

At its core, the center provides substance abuse treatment services for both men and women, recognizing that addiction knows no gender boundaries. It also offers withdrawal stabilization services in a social setting, ensuring that those in the throes of addiction receive the care and support they desperately need.

With 16 patient beds and short-term residential treatment services, the center provides a safe and nurturing environment for individuals on their journey to recovery. What sets it apart is the utilization of innovative psychotherapeutic techniques rooted in evidence-based recovery therapies, ensuring that clients receive cutting-edge care.  

Recognizing that addiction often ripples through families, The Salvation Army offers family education, therapy, and support to help heal the bonds that may have been strained by addiction. Moreover, the center adopts an integrated treatment approach for dual diagnosis clients who grapple with both substance use disorders and mental health issues.  

Continuing care is paramount, and The Salvation Army extends its support through outpatient relapse prevention services and case management to address housing, medical, employment, and other essential needs.  

Beyond the clinical aspects, The Salvation Army provides ongoing spiritual support, reflecting their committed approach to recovery. Located at 2900 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103, this facility is not just a building; it’s a place for individuals and families seeking a path to recovery and a brighter future. The Salvation Army’s dedication to combating addiction is a testament to their commitment to fostering positive change in the lives of those they serve.

The Salvation Army is made up of thousands of officers, soldiers, adherents, employees, volunteers, and other individuals all working together to holistically meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of those less fortunate. Our organization is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. The Salvation Army St. Louis is the administrative unit that provides services to people in need throughout Missouri and Southern Illinois.
