In a heartwarming collaboration between the City of Dellwood and St. Andrew United Methodist Church, a Free Food Truck Event for Thanksgiving brought the community together at the Dellwood Recreation Center. The event, held on the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving, aimed to extend the spirit of gratitude by providing a feast to those in need. Five prestigious food trucks lined up from 12 noon till 2 pm, offering a diverse array of culinary delights, including Mexican cuisine, burgers, chicken, and more. Despite the cold, crisp weather, the warmth radiated from the volunteers and the community, creating a delightful atmosphere for everyone involved. Over 600 people were treated to a hearty Thanksgiving meal, thanks to the generosity of the event.
