Chronicles of Valor – This 90-minute concert features their 45-member concert band and will honor our nation’s fallen, share stories of their sacrifices, and reflect on all that makes us flourish as individuals and as a nation. In addition to spectacular marches and patriotic music, selections will include Broadway tunes and more. Admission to these performances is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

Classic 107.3, “The Voice for the Arts in St. Louis,” has a new episode in its series for school-aged children called “Musical Ancestries™.” The new episode explores the splendor of Vietnamese culture through its music, dance, history, and rich cultural traditions. Musical Ancestries is designed to create a pathway to understanding and appreciation as children explore the great diversity of our community.
In addition to the three radio broadcasts, teachers, students, and families can delve deeper and engage through the educational resources on Classic 107.3’s website. A user-friendly Prezi program incorporates visual images, maps, audio and video clips, and hands-on activities. Students can follow along with the broadcasts as they use the online materials or access the “Musical Ancestries™” information anytime online.

Watch and be a part of Story Stitchers live podcast discussions, presented on the state-of-the-art stage of 3301 Washington Ave. Story Stitchers artists and guest artists will round out each presentation with live art interludes. Youth, ages 16-25 years old, discuss current topics in live podcast recordings on stage. Live art interludes are incorporated into the presentations. Learn about the community through the words of young leaders.
We All Fall Down – May 30 – June 16
NJT presents the regional premiere by Lila Rose Kaplan. Directed by Artistic Director Rebekah Scallet, the play tells the story of one family’s attempt to come together for a Passover dinner with hilarious and heartbreaking results.

TNMOT is participating in ‘Play Day in the Park’ on Saturday, June 1, from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm, in Forest Park. This event is a collaborative effort with other tourist attractions and educational facilities sponsored by Spire. In our area, Just PLANE Fun, kids will make paper airplanes and practice flying them through a variety of targets. Play Day in the Park is a collaborative event proudly sponsored by Spire and is FREE for all families. To kick off this summer, join us for a free family event highlighting the power of play in children’s lives! From fishing and bubbles, to parachute play and adaptive sports, there will be fun activities for all. Plus, families will be able to sign up for STL Summer Adventure, a community summer learning program powered by St. Louis County Library and St. Louis Public Library.
Pack a picnic or purchase lunch at the Park. Free parking is available in the Park. Event will take place rain or shine.
Missouri Chamber Music Festival – June 6 – 21
The Missouri Chamber Music Festival presents Season 14: Game Changers and the Music of our Surroundings June 6 – 21, 2024. The four concerts of the festival and opening reception/presentation explore musical works with profound emotional impact relevant to the present day. The Festival highlights composers that changed things forever through their musical innovation. MOCM Festival artists share performances of evocative works by Schumann, Brahms, Haydn, Caroline Shaw, Gabriela Lena Frank, and Arnold Schoenberg. MOCM looks back to Schoenberg’s ground-breaking Expressionist work of 1912, Pierrot Lunaire, Op. 21 and celebrates the future with the world premiere of MOCM’s commissioned work, Huit-Clos for piano trio and mixed media by composer Florent Ghys.
80th Anniversary D-Day Commemorative Celebration – June 8, 10a
The National Museum of Transportation
Did you know the Museum’s C-47A Transport airplane was used by the United States Army Air Forces in the World War II Invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944? Our aircraft flew overnight to drop troops and supplies before dawn on June 7 as part of the D-Day operation with the 82nd Airborne. Join us on Saturday, June 8, as we commemorate this historic date. Activities begin at 10 am. More information is coming soon!
Juneteenth Celebration – June 15, 8:30a-9p

The Delmar Loop is excited to invite you to be a part of our upcoming Juneteenth Celebration, scheduled to take place on June 15th! Juneteenth is an essential commemoration of freedom and an opportunity for the community to come together in celebration and reflection. This year, four organizations are coming together to curate an unforgettable event – University City and St. Louis City, along with Delmar Main Street and the St. Louis Reconciliation Network – unite their efforts to create an extraordinary Juneteenth festival experience. This year, we are expanding our festivities to include an energizing 5K Morning Run, an afternoon Vendor Fair, and an captivating Evening Celebration featuring performances by talented African dancers, drummers, musicians, and even a car show!

Join Stitchers Youth Council (FREE) for access to The Center!
Stitchers Youth Council has performed over 400 times since 2014 throughout St. Louis in cultural venues, parks and at block parties.
Members are 16-25 years old social justice artists who work with adult mentors to generate high quality art that is aimed at moving the region to a healthier and happier future for all.
